Materials Needed For Class

Yearlong Spanish

1" 3-ring binder

2 blue or black ink pens for writing

2 red ink pens for grading/editing

10" by 8" pencil pouch to keep pens, flash cards, etc.

Notebook paper

10 dividers

*Notice that NOWHERE on this list do you see green, purple, silver, orange, yellow, or pink pens! You will NOT be allowed to turn in ANYTHING written in ANY of these colors! If I can’t read it, I can’t grade it!

If possible, these things would also be good to have in your pencil pouch in your Spanish binder:

colored pencils

pencil sharpener (you'll need your own sharpener because colored pencils tear up the school pencil sharpeners)

glue stick

scissors

Your notebook should include a 10” by 8” pouch to store your pens, flash cards, and other materials.  You should always have blank notebook paper in your notebook.  In addition, you will need 10 dividers with the following headings.

·        El calendario - calendar, rules, procedures, study log, and other class documents

·        Las prácticas – warm-ups and blank paper

·        Vocabulario – vocabulary

·        Las actividades de la clase – classroom activities

·        La cultura - culture

·        Las canciones - songs

·        Los cuentos – stories

·        Las composiciones – compositions, writing activities

·        La tarea – homework

·        Los exámenes y examencitos - tests and quizzes

You will need these materials by Monday, August 29th.

That's when we will be organizing our notebooks.
